Matryoshka Doll - Holiday Lights

Can you believe the holidays are just around the corner? Before you know it you will be tangled up in holiday lights. This is my fun version of the holiday lights experience.
This is my original ink and watercolor, but you can find prints in my card shop. I am giving one of these cards to my neighbor, he lights up the entire street with his holiday light display. Do you have any fun stories to share regarding holiday lights?

what a cute card!!

When I was living in vancouver we would go and see the festival of lights at the flower garden. It was massive and there would be light shows set to music as well

a fully illuminated, heavily decorated tree is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. this year i'll have two kittens so i am rethinking all of that! how goes your festival preparations.

Two kittens on a brightly lit tree! Oh my! I think I would rethink the matter also. Festival preparations are moving along well. Finishing touches and going over my check list.

Love the card!

Growing up in Canada our city used to have an ice sculpture festival and I remember this "blue-ish" glow when the sculptures would get lit up. It was beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. :-)
